I am just utterly confused at this point and I seriously need the assistance of the minecraft forums!Ĭould somebody recommend which of the two permissions plugins (or another) I should be using, and provide a demonstrative sample of a full permission build including build rights, and also show that with the name colour changes included? if anybody can help at all I would appreciate it more than I can say, and I'd get to keep my hair. I'm still very new to bukkit and plugins and I have done a lot of reading on all this, and have only gotten further lost. My Daily bonus is also not paying out though that is a far less pressing concern. I'm so bloody lost and confused, I just want players to be able to pay each other through iConomy (I also use chest shop and Daily Bonus) and be able to have groups with different name colours. Now the same probem persists across both groups manager and bpermissions! Once I did this, players who were not ops could no longer build, and so I switched back to GroupsManager. Having so much issue getting this to work I eventually switched to bPermissions after a little reading.

At first group manager worked okay, until I tried to colour code the names of players based on their groups (Default, Builder, Moderator, Administrator, and Donor are my intended groups). I installed a permissions system (first group manager, then bpermissions). I am using iConomy so I need a permissions plugin to allow players to pay to each other (at the moment they can view their balance and whatnot but only ops can actually pay between players). essentials.I am at a loss on our server. For example if you wanted the player to have all the Essentials commands you would need to do this You need to define which plugin each permission is comming from.
You cannot simply put * and be done with it.

For example, Mods would inherit from default, Admins would inhereit from Moderators. You need to set reach group to inherit from the group bellow it. Okay I highlighted the problem areas in yellow.
